In most cases, music is composed and performed with a linear trajectory. Sounds are arranged in patterns, while variations in dynamics, phrasing, and a host of other nuances enhance a composition's power to create a sonic landscape for the listener.

My work explores relationships between colors and shapes as visual responses to sound. Music and ambient sounds in the natural environment are among the most common impetus for these drawings and paintings. Pattern and repetition are commonly employed as the formal systems through which I pursue dynamic relationships between concept and form.
